I'm Fat and Plain. The Crippled Mafia Boss's Daughter Still Picked Me as Her Mom — story

After her cruel husband divorces her and destroys her food cart, Mara Hayes finds herself utterly homeless and stripped of everything she once had. Yet, fate takes an unexpected turn when she rescues Sophie, the vulnerable daughter of powerful mafia boss Luca Moretti. Hired to look after the child as her caretaker, Mara steps into a fractured world and soon becomes the deeply traumatized girl’s chosen "Mommy," bringing warmth and fierce protection where there was only silence and fear.

Just as Mara begins to rebuild her life within the shadows of the estate, the situation drastically escalates. Luca’s calculating ex-wife returns with one dangerous goal in mind: seizing control of Sophie’s substantial trust fund by any means necessary. With the ruthless threat closing in fast, Mara and the wheelchair-bound Don Luca Moretti must forge a high-stakes alliance to protect the little girl.

To outmaneuver the scheming intruder, they take a perilous gamble that blurs the lines between a forced arrangement and something far more dangerous, testing their resolve as hidden dangers circle the estate.
