The Evil God is My Lackey — story

Noah is a modern office worker thrust into a precarious existence after he transmigrated into the pages of a novel. Finding himself trapped in the role of the story’s designated villain, he faces a gruesome future where the male lead is destined to tear him limb from limb. To rewrite this lethal destiny, Noah makes a desperate, calculated gamble: he acquires the awakening evil god Oz, binding the deity to his service.

In the eyes of the world, Noah is a master of cruelty and vicious intent, maintaining a ruthless persona to keep his enemies at bay. He plays the part perfectly, projecting an image of cold, unyielding authority that keeps the court in a state of constant, fearful tension. Yet, this calculated facade hides a far more complicated reality.

Behind the heavy doors of his private chambers, Noah secretly lends Oz a helping hand, nurturing the very power he is supposed to fear. This fantasy web drama explores the blurred lines between shadow and light as Noah desperately clings to his secret identity to survive. He believes he is the one pulling the strings, unaware that the malevolent entity at his side is far more perceptive than he imagined.

Little does Noah know, the evil god has long seen through his true nature, watching the masquerade unfold with a dangerous, unspoken awareness that threatens to unravel everything.
